Happy New Year from all of us at Garten’s Music and the Wichita Music Academy!

We have some exciting developments to share with you from the past few weeks, plus some MORE exciting upcoming events to announce in the weeks ahead.

First, you might have already heard that we were recently appointed as dealers for Yamaha guitars.  We’re starting small in the guitar world, trying to serve first our existing clientele.

What that means for now is that we don’t have any $5000 guitars in stock.  What we do have is a nice selection of instruments for the beginner up through the intermediate player, ranging from less than $100 up into the $300 range.  (Of course, if you’re really excited about a Yamaha LL56 Custom ARE - list price $7299 - we’d be happy to order you one.)

We do have some nifty fractional size guitars (including a ¾-size acoustic-electric), full-size guitars, nylon-string guitars in both full and fractional sizes, and some of the PAC (Pacifica) electric guitars.

We also have the Yamaha GL1 Guitalele, a baritone ukulele-size instrument that’s strung with 6 strings like a guitar.  And speaking of ukuleles, we’re going to have some more exciting news to share with you quite soon. Stay tuned…
